American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. She started her acting career by playing supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt, she was a reporter Willa McPherson. She also had an supporting role in the show that ran for just a few seasons The Ex List. She was the lead character of Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She is also the voice of many characters in the animated comedy series Family Guy. She has been the voice of Melinda "Mel" Monroe on Netflix's Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was born in Darien in Connecticut. She relocated to California with her mother when she was of 10. The family moved around for one year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 when she first began to pursue an interest in photography, acting and singing. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was just 15 years old to pursue a career in acting.
