Colson Kelly, a.k.a by the name Machine Gun Kelly, has distinct rapping styles. Baker was born in Houston, Texas U.S. on April 22nd 1990 to parents who were of English Scottish German descent. In his early years, he spent a great amount of time travelling with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression, and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker's father emigrated along with Baker to Denver and the family lived at the aunt of his father. Baker's lack of resources was a reason to be bullied by children who were around him. When he reached sixth grade, Baker was able to take up rap. Colson Kelly Baker was born on 22 April 1990 in Texas America. He has a reputation for blending hip-hop that is contemporary and alternative with rock music into his songs. Baker has released four mixtapes over the period between 2007-2010 prior to joining Bad Boy Records. The Cleveland rapper who delivered lyrics at the pace of a speeding bullet experienced an explosive rise when, in 2011, he switched from self-released mixes to reputable label. In the following years, each album of his came in at #10 on the chart.
