Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5th, 1964 in New York, New York U.S.A. is an American actress who is known for her portrayal of powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was born into the theatre-loving side of her family. Her father named Romulus Linney was a writer. Linney graduated in 1986 from Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated from the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. In 1990, she appeared on Broadway for the first time in 1990.
